Help Wanted!

Time for a changing of the guard!

SWA is seeking a replacement for long-time President Chuck Grosky who is resigning his position due to health concerns. The President is responsible, with the Board of Directors, for carrying out the organization’s mission and for ensuring the organization’s growth, relevance and stability. Interested individuals should be energetic and enthusiastic and have a sincere interest in writing and in providing resources to area writers and the community.

Webmaster: We are also seeking an individual who has both a technical bent and a good bit of literary flair to take over the operation of our SWA website (http://seacoastwritersassociation.org) and our e-mail program for electronic mailing of our quarterly newsletter and any special announcements.

These are both volunteer positions, but do come with the perq. of attending SWA conferences without charge. The best kind of payment is a chance to support our writing community, make a difference, and work with a great board of directors.

Interested individuals should contact SWA Secretary Joan Castro by e-mail at joanandcarlos@yahoo.com. Please include “SWA” in the subject line. Feel free to nominate someone if you feel they would be a good candidate. Provide contact information.
